Losing tracks

Losing tracks

As entrepreneurs, losing tracks or nuts happens to most of us once in a while but on a very regular basis. I must say I’m gifted in this peculiar sphere of the home business entrepreneur lifestyle.  I just caught myself in a totally locked and loaded state of mind about productive tools I don’t really need right now. Do you see what I mean?
I’m building a brand new community of people willing to feel happier healthier and unstuck, ready to give back, share their love and design better lifestyles. There are 2 or 3 productive tools I’m using to make that happen:

CoSchedule to manage and support the content I want to share on my blogs and on social media. As a matter of fact I’m saving a tone of time with CoSchedule and I’m just scratching the surface.  I can schedule and structure easily my content  Invite partners to write and be part of a team. Mix media contents, control the quality of titles and have a quick look on the analytics.

Mailchimp for the automation of my blog’s releases, of my newsletters to my new clients and partners, and to manage the opt-in offers. I also use ASANA tasks planner to stay focused on my daily planning. Surely I’m building a website and I will SEO my way in with the Google tools. For now, I do not need any of the absolutely incredible power apps to help me out. I am building a community, simple and clear. I want to use smart automation tools to welcome the newbies in my world. That’s it. I want to follow up with my people and friends and serve them to the best of knowledge.

Losing sight of our very basic needs is so easy.

Here is the unrated version. I was already there. Not here. Over there. It’s good to be in the vision, to see the magnificent results and the better life we are creating except when it becomes a sneaky overwhelming storm of hidden emotions out of control from the inside out. Yeap I just wrote that. Rest assured I am a nutcase with a plan and I am not crazier than the average entrepreneurs climbing their upper limits on their knees if they have to. I’m escaping reality once in a while but on a very regular basis. The primordial lesson is learning to head back to the arena, no matter what.

Getting back on track is a national sport in the entrepreneurial arena.

Locked and loaded on productivity tools or anything else and meanwhile in the background of our mind, there is a tiny tiny tiny voice trying to take the stand and speak out about a lack of sleep, a lack of meditation time, a serious rebuff about taking the day off, cleaning the house, going for a walk and feeling the whole Mood unwinding. Why do we do that to ourselves?

APPRECIATING YOUR BASIC DIGNITY

’’When you appreciate yourself, you realize that you don’t have to feel wretched or condemned. You don’t have to artificially puff yourself up, either. You discover your basic dignity, which comes along with gentleness. You have always possessed this, but you may never have recognized it before.’’
Teachings by Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche by Shambhala Publications.

Is this reflecting on you ? Are you smiling ? I hope so.

To click or not to click!

To click or not to click!

Happy Sunday!

Last Thursday, I searched for a way to optimize my site in order to speed up the loading of the landing page. I used the recommended plugins WP Optimize, and W3 Total Cache in the free version but something happened. Once installed, the W3 Total Cache created several problems, one of them was compliance with my theme from Headway.  There was a warning about the cache of the theme. An option was presented to empty that cache in order to solve the issue.

Click or not to click? Tic Tac! Tic Tac! Click or not to click? Faith or fear? I clicked. Wrong click…500 errors … Hum, I called the support from my host service; 30 minutes later they corrected the issue in the htaccess file. What a relief I was okay! Got back to optimizing the cache but there was another issue. Click or not to click? Tic Tac! Tic Tac! Click or not to click? Faith or fear? Faith or fear? I clicked. Boom 404 errors. The pages of the site are missing… Hum, called the support from my host service; 30 minutes later they corrected the issue in the htaccess file again and corrected other stuff I can’t even begin to name.

I asked:  what was the problem? The plugin I asked candidly? May be, he said; try the Wp Super Cache it may works better. Hum, I said, thank you.

As a beginner in the webmaster arena sometimes I want answers but I don’t really know what to ask. Most of this vocabulary  still feels like encryption to my brain. No wonder most of times it feels like going on a secret mission to be revealed only on a-need-to-know-basis.

The speed test of the website is okay computer wise; the visitors experience hits a high score. The downloading experience could be faster but for now it is Sunday. I was out of the office on Friday and Saturday, I left the website snoring a bit but uploading. This unsolved issue is still bugging me a bit. Today I don’t feel like trying new stuff. Today I want the optimizing images plugins and the super cache tricks to work like a microwave. Do you get that?

Find who you are

Find who you are

In the home business world, keeping our focus on the desired outcomes is the first most vital ability we need to harvest. Until it becomes a well anchored skill, most of us struggle with prioritizing actions on a daily basis mainly because starting a home business commands also a whole new sets of values, habits and actions. It’s all new; it’s all good and scary. Everything is urgent and we hear a lot about finding a sense of urgency to hustle better, to want more, to do to do to do to do. But, one of the scariest parts comes from not knowing ourselves deeply enough. In order to stay the course, we need to rectify our actions and to keep following what makes us powerful beyond measure: Our values. I know it’s going back to the basics but values help us find who we are.

A few months ago I read Johnathan Fields blog. The topic was about narrowing down the reasons why we choose the home business lifestyle or why we choose to become entrepreneur ? Or why do we want do be all of that and save the world ?

To find out what does really motivate that decision helps connect the dots to have a stronger vision. I know it has been said over and over but it’s always about the angle we look at that kind of stuff that makes the difference.  I love this set of questions for its simple to the point approach, pursuing the real dominion of our hearts and souls as humans beings not productivity machines.

Here are the not so easy questions to answer that makes us feel more connected to ourselves.

  • What do I care about?
What do I hold sacred, both in business and life?
What lights me up. What would I work hard to do for free?
  • What empties me out, emotionally, psychologically and physically?
Who do I want to serve?
Do I care more about serving or building?
  • What do I value on a non-negotiable level?
    What am I great at?
    What am I terrible at?
How do I want to spend each day?. How do I want to live my life?

Sassy goals

Sassy goals

I love sassy goals, I love sassy missions.

I love to list my goals, more importantly I love to write down lists of actions. I select timeline, reachable tasks, sustainable efforts, some more measurable, some less measurable. I love putting down on paper the overflow of ideas clustered in my mind. It gives me a sense of importance and of clarity from which I can narrow down my sassy goals.  A couple years ago, I regularly pledge to get to the bottom of the to do list hanging on my board, nagging me. Some of these building business chores were holding me back; it was all new stuffs for me. Paralyzing me. Usually when I stayed too long in an unknown territory, the old belief system stating that ‘I’m not good enough’ grew some power over my self-confidence resulting in loosing the sassy effect. No sassy effect. No sassy goals.

I tried everything. I’ve put together vision boards, self-declarations and I planned the whole year ahead with 3 months goals representing milestones of my success. There was still something wrong. I was doing it by fueling from my own power and it was never enough. After a short time, I was done with the race, extenuated, so out of order. I was going through an internal power surge, not a breakdown, not a depression, not a burnout but I kept operating from my very rational intellectual conception of what I needed to do in order to succeed. It was not enough energy to take in a marathon like starting a flourishing business with purpose. There was no sassy goals, no fun to show up, just meaningless humdrums like the old days at the office.

I used to think procrastination as a defect, a lack of will or leadership, the proof of the missing piece separating brilliant successful people from the others.  I was right about one thing there was a missing piece: Me wholehearted 1, brave, courageous and willing to walk the extra miles to get out there. I discovered I was shy of my natural sassiness in the business field. I redefined out there again until I felt locked and loaded with delicious joyful bliss, until I felt like starting right now.  Then I realized my list of goals was more difficult to achieve than I thought and, there was too much to be done. Even if died  as a 135 years old healthy wise goddess, there was still not enough time to build all of that.

So, I went for not more than 3 sassy crazy achievable priorities for the next 12 months. I chunked each of them in smaller goals and I established milestones in order to stay the course. My oh! My goddess, once it’s done it sounds so easy and it feels empowering.

My three sassy goals fueled by purpose, passion, love and commitment are:

  1. Creating a healthy sparkling unstoppable network of builders of benevolence in 2016.
  2. Creating outstanding solid weekly residual incomes to share wealth, love and solidarity among all of us by August 18th.
  3. Creating hope, inner freedom and financial relief to support humanist organization give birth to their projects in a sustainable way.

Now, we all know it is all possible if I let go of the need to stick rigidly to the plan. The plan defines the final destination; the milestones are to stay the course. The weekly commitments and actions design the compound effect 2. The first step is to engage and execute on a daily basis to create commitments. No more questions ask. My true freedom is to be do be do who I choose to: a sassy successful coach, entrepreneur and blogger.

  1. Brené Brown wrote exceptional books about living wholehearted.
  2. Darren Hardy is the author of the book The Compound effect.

One business with an amazingly crazy purpose

One business with an amazingly crazy purpose

My business purpose does not share a standard business plan. A business with a purpose simply means that caring for others is the main reason for producing  profits and  incomes. I believe that by building a network of people willing to care for others with more urgent needs, we are changing the world.

We do so by building compassionate sustainable actions and by creating an unforgettable experience of oneness for the people we serve. I believe we need to feel good experiences to want better experiences.

We need a memory of goodwill for wanting to recreate goodwill, we need a memory of joyful benevolence to feel it is possible

We need to be part of the change.

Are you tired of falling short of energy?  Do you feel like your days are a never-ending short story? Would you love to wake up to a fresher mind? How about walking in your life with clarity about what you really want. These questions redefine my conception of freedom and the manifesto of the business I created.

Health triggers better judgement, better learning skills, better decision making and more compassionate people. To begin to change the world we need  all of these elements. Why? Because optimal healthy human beings agree to share their wealth as their mind bodies and spirits leave the survival mode. They honor their body with nourishing food, supplements free from chemicals hazards, and their body loves them back. Olympics athletes, World Tennis Player, Professional Climbers have this one thing in common: They already experienced this exhilarating relationship with their bodies. They know how amazing and resilient the human mind body and spirit can be. They say it changes ones perception of the world when they feel they can rely on such wonderful teammates, their healthy bodies. It is a huge transformation creating what is needed to operate changes.

This is the main reason I chose my affiliation with Usana Health Sciences. They give me an all stars customer services, a topnotch remuneration program on a week-to-week basis. Their products meet the pharmaceutical standards and are clinically proven 100% efficient. My partnership with them offers me the unique opportunity to share wellness, to change lives from the roots to the soul without any concerns about the quality or the efficiency. This is how I create residual incomes.

On the other hand, my coaching is about breaking free from the burden of everyday life. And I know how my freedom looks like; it looks just like me with a smile. My first epic goal is to support the creation of healthy minds bodies and luminous spirits for anybody who wants to live lightweight. Not lightly. Not trivial. Not scanty. Light weighted. With work and dedication, I coach from anywhere. We can meet in person or on the web. I am writing a book, composing new music and songs. I can serve the people with my gifts and share to the world my vision. I am seeking new partnerships to expand my reach as long as we share common values like integrity, benevolence for starter. Everything is possible. I love freedom with its infinite possibilities because your freedom looks like you with a smile.

My happiness results from helping others on their way to wellness and my definition of wellness is feeling astonishing almost all the time with myself. My happiness means sharing my wealth, coaching with positive psychological triggers, bringing joy and empowerment to the table. My roadmap to financial freedom includes blogging with openness, honesty, authenticity, different streams of residual incomes, building bridges between us and within us to resolve, reach and connect.

My Purpose

My livelihood comes from my purpose embedded in my heart and soul. It comes from my willingness to take part in a more fair rounded way of earning incomes and making small sustainable efforts to provide water, happiness, schools, gardening spaces, hugs and new homes for the orphans, shelter for the girls, teenagers or women wanting to change the hands they were dealt with.

My business plan is not a standard business plan. A business with a purpose simply means that caring for others is the main reason for producing  profits and  incomes. I believe that by building a network of people willing to care for others with needs more urgent, we are changing the world. We do so with compassionate sustainable actions and we create an unforgettable experience of oneness for the people we serve. I Believe we need to feel good experiences to want better experiences; we need a memory of goodwill for wanting to recreate goodwill. We need to be part of the change.

If we want things to change, it starts by becoming healthy, by sharing and by serving. By believing we are the change to come every single breath we take.

Change to be do be do

Change to be do be do

Sometimes my concentration is channeled like in a funnel. These moments are graceful and energetically free from burdens. I can work and accomplish so much in less time. That space within amazes me. I keep my focus on the task, I take notes, I have a clear vision of my desired outcome, I see the big picture, I feel confident and in control. There is no blur nor missing steps, the execution is flowing and flawless. I am in my zone.

What if I tell you right now I’m living that state of mind every time I choose to sit down, to work, to make the calls, to hustle my way in or to write. Do you really think it is possible or not?  What if I tell you my ability to focus is directly connected to my true desires.  Would you consider it more possible?

Staying in touch with my true desires landscapes my belief system. Owning my true desires ignite the best version of me effortlessly. When internet distracts me, when people snatch me away from my work, I silently agree to put out my fire, to disconnect myself from my true purpose. I let myself down.

Why would anybody do that? Why do I do that to myself?

There is no short explanation and we all end up doing it at one time or another. We all carry a personal legend we need to overwrite. We all need to face up with our hidden monsters and override them.  We all need to gentle our way back into ourselves.

It takes a daily commitment to master any kind of art, focusing is an art to master. Writing’s muscles need training, care and discipline; striving a web business commands a highly level of enthusiasm and dedication, an openness to learn and a good dose of faith for hammering away at the treadmill to get results, day after day.

Therefore, to find the energy to step in that craziness, I need to nurture my true desires by, among things, not forcing what is not there yet. I do my best with what I got. I sit down when I feel the words ready to manifest. I bet on the compound effect to change my old habits in new ones and to replace my old belief system with the more positive and uplifting version of myself. As every baby is set to walk for good at one point, I am too. I know I will fall, get up, get back on my feet, collapse 15 minutes, lose faith for another 20, crawl myself back together, strive, hustle, resist, lose sight of my purpose, fail at being my own best friend, win back my confidence, succeed, meet my goals and celebrate. And this is how my day goes in my new life of entrepreneur.

To keep my focus in my zone, I will give myself a path on the back every time I successfully do what I say I am going to do. I want to remember in the core of every cells of my body spirit and mind how empowering it feels to choose freedom.

My true freedom is to be do be do who I choose to.

Resolve and reach

Resolve and reach

I want to change the world; I am making health, freedom and happiness as the number one currency in the world for my business. By the way, I believe happiness is overrated, happiness is the most normal state of mind of all, and it is a gift from birth. So, I’m creating a wonderful extraordinary planet to live on, I dream food for 100% of living being on the planet, water for every single one, non-violent communication, no more slavery just living. I dream a lot, I envisioned my dream until it became crystal clear.  I know I am not alone in this evolution because more than 90% of the human population feels like I do. It is time for a change. We all feel it but I guess we do not know how to begin with that new step of our humanity.

To be quite honest, I really want the world to change its mind about the way we solve our problems, but I am as well attached to many things. What about you?

Before I unplugged the television, my belief around fixing the world was soaking in the fear of losing either what I possessed or what I strived to get.  I was into the bad habit of holding on to everything in case the world either crashed or collapsed.  The fear of lacking of everything from A to Z tainted my ability to see myself as a potential suitable change factor. I felt powerless most of my life, mostly powerless because change had become synonym of war, blood, orphans, fear, famine, camps. As a kid I watched the news every night at suppertime. I was fed with the fear of change through the cold war and then with all the other conflicts around the world.

As far as I can remember, I always wished for us to live in a more peaceful and even-handed world. That is my purpose. Making it happen on a human scale. Making  a difference on a very sustainable human scale. It means refusing the powerlessness mood that keep us away from building a better world for everybody including us. My first challenge is to blog, reach out and create a community of persons willing to feel healthy, happy, to experiment generosity and to be the change. I am building a network, a list, a community. May I count you in?

For things to improve, you have to improve. For things to get better, you have to get better. For
things to change, you have to change. When you change, everything changes for you.” Jim Rohn.

I am a better person, a better artist, a better entrepreneur, a better blogger, a better version of me when I serve a higher purpose. My first step is to embody my purpose in a website and to make it real and online. To do it. To keep doing it. To serve.

Resolve and reach.
Resolve means trying new things for different outcomes.
Reach means stretching beyond our upper limits to get it.
On your toes with soul.
